The Association of Friends of the Delphi International Psychoanalytic Symposium is a non-profit organization founded in 1997 by 22 Greek psychoanalysts. The Association is based in Athens and according to its statute its purpose is to support the study and research of psychoanalytic theory and its applications, the exchange of opinions and information regarding psychoanalysis and related issues and the promotion of international scientific and cultural relations regarding psychoanalysis. The realization of the goals of the Association is pursued by organizing scientific and cultural meetings around psychoanalysis in the area of Delphi or other appropriate places in Greece, by cooperating with associations that have the same goals and related purposes, by setting up working groups for studies and research and with publications concerning the objectives of the Association.
